The Grand Avenue Project

Large corner windows bring beautiful natural light into this Grand Avenue home. For this project, we selected Duette® cellular shades to make the dining room, kitchen, and living area more comfortable while complementing the warm wood cabinetry and clean interior lines. Their insulating honeycomb construction helps keep sunny rooms cooler, while the light fabric softly filters daylight throughout the space.

Top-Down/Bottom-Up operation gives the dining and kitchen windows flexible privacy: the shades can cover the lower glass while leaving the upper windows open to the light. Raise them from the bottom to enjoy more of the view. A discreet solar trickle charger near the dining room’s window corner helps keep the rechargeable shade batteries powered. Explore our custom window shades for more ways to bring comfort and light control into your home.
